Verification

Now that personalization has been activated, you can verify that it is working as expected.

1. In your browser, clear site data.

   This clears out any visitor activity that may have been captured while you were clicking around the site earlier.

   tip

   To clear site data using Google Chrome:

   1. Open DevTools
   2. Navigate to the Application tab
   3. Click Clear site data

2. Navigate to the home page.

   Default content is displayed on the home page.

3. Open the browser extension.

   

   info

   The extension reports that there are no active dimensions.

4. Navigate to the Architecture page.

   info

   Visiting this page triggers the signal you created.

5. Open the browser extension.

   

   info

   The extension reports that there is now one active dimensions.

6. Return to the home page.

   

   info

   Personalized content is displayed on the home page.
