Adding Sitecore integration (v7.0)

Uniform Canvas allows you to modernize your Sitecore site's front-end while retaining the content in the Sitecore CMS. Uniform supports you regardless of whether you are simply migrating your existing site design, or starting fresh with a new design.

There are two main tasks involved:

1. Use Sitecore XM/XP as a headless CMS. Keep your content in Sitecore but make it available to a modern front-end.
2. Create your front-end using one of the following approaches:
   • Migrate your Sitecore renderings & layouts - When you want to continue to use your existing Sitecore site design but you want to move to modern front-end technology.
   • Build a new front-end - When you want to build a completely new front-end using modern web technology but continue to use content from your Sitecore server. Also, when you have completed migrating your Sitecore renderings & layouts and need to add new components.
